My decision to vote for Barack Obama, if I should get the chance, wasn't made primarily on gay issues. In fact, gay issues really didn't have much to do with it at all. Still, it's always heartening to hear a candidate say the word "gay" in a positive way, even if he doesn't have to. From yesterday's speech at American University, alongside Sen. Ted Kennedy:
“And it lives on in those Americans – young and old, rich and poor, black and white, Latino and Asian and Native American, gay and straight – who are tired of a politics that divides us and want to recapture the sense of common purpose that we had when John Kennedy was President of the United States of America,” said Obama.
The insertion of “gay and straight” was a departure from the script of Sen. Obama’s “prepared remarks” that were forwarded to news outlets ahead of the event by his campaign.
American should give obama a chance to serve them;let forget about all this thing.AS at now obama is the best candidate for America.

Obama has just did what his enemies wanted; the worst speech of his life. Let me explain.
America is truly looking for leadership, from any party. America's success story is actually our problem; the world envies us, our enemies focused in on us, as the leaders of the free world. But now, between our poor energy choices, our debt, our defacto role as global policeman against the evils of the world, has painted us in a corner. Oddly as it might seem, it probably will be Wall Street, not Russia, that brings America to its knees.
American's sense this crisis; Americans know that our credit cards and our financial crisis is our Achilles Heal. So we look for a politician to fix it, much like FDR and the New Deal fixed our last great financial crisis. BTW, no longer does the leader who can fix this have to be white; America can handle a leader whose sex or race does not fit the Presidential family tree seen at the local library.
What America cannot accept though, is reverse racism; a leader whose skin is another color and who cannot see through the "hate that hate produced". Obama's enemies have cornered him here, found his weakness, and forced him to defend himself.
What Obama failed to see clearly is how to answer his critics, how to deflect the blow in such a way as to minimize its affects.
Bleeding through Obama's words today were not what America wanted to hear, he tried to explain the un-explainable; defend the un-defendable; defend himself when he had no defense. The truth is, he attended and related to a radical church with a radical pastor with a radical agenda that in all reality reflects the very thing that most white folks are trying to get away from; racism and hate. Only this time; the racism and hate was spoken by a black man, a twisted form from a future Oliver Twist novel.
Obama's staff should be fired for letting him hang himself here; the tone of the speech was wrong, the latent message wrong, the allusion that America has a choice wrong (the burden is upon him to lead America; the burden is not on America to conform to his leadership).
The good news is; next time around, America will listen to a minority person who wants to lead America; but that person will have to be well separated from the "hate that hate created". And who knows, maybe this Presidential Candidate will be Mr. Obama, only with a degree of maturity not yet present, a humbled person, void of arrogance and free from biased coaching and thoughts that are every man's potential downfall.
