Hillary's diplomatic (mis)adventures

The funniest thing of late to come out of the interminable Democratic campaign:

Having a campaign aide explain that what Clinton was actually talking about was "fire in the hillside around the area" is a particularly nice touch.

By this standard, I could claim that my flights into National Airport during 1996 were harrowing experiences due to all the gun violence in Southeast D.C. -- I just ran with my head down till I dove into a cab, then threw myself to the sticky floor and prayed I'd make it home safely.

Why is this still going on, again?

I am a little taken aback by this critique on Clinton. Usually, I am so used to seeing overwhelmingly positive and blind support of Hilary Clinton within the gay community. I never understood why we accepted her so enthusiastically. There is a space in dupont for hilary supporters and there is a hilary night occassionally at some clubs in the gayborhood, but nothing for Obama. Why is that, especially since(and I am going to make the bold assumption that many of us are liberal leaning) Obama is clearly more progressive in his way of thinking- including on gay issues ie DOMA and speaking out against homophobia. People complain about Obamamania but has anyone noticed the Hilarymania within our community ?
